This is my first attempt at a 3D game, created for the Waves-themed Game Jam "Game Off 2025" which is also my first game jam.

Waves is a simple exploration game where actions like walking, collecting, remembering, tell a story.

You begin as a child exploring a peaceful beach, gathering shells for a birthday gift. You have a chance encounter and a fun afternoon with your new friend.
But when disaster strikes the coast, you and your mother must fight to survive, your lives forever changed.

Years later, you return to the drowned remains of your home. Explore a sunken city, uncover objects that trigger brief memory clips, and walk through the remnants of your old life.

Gameplay is simple and accessible:

  • WASD to move
  • Mouse to look
  • E to interact

I was really impressed when I saw the first stage. The music is sweet. How did you make such a 3D model? Where did you find it? Some have bugs, but congratulations, my friend, for completing a project like this in one month with five different mechanics and five park gameplay modes.

Thank you so much! I made most of the 3d assets using meshy.ai (with image prompts) and then a few of the simple ones just in blender. It is my first 3D game and I worked on it almost every day throughout Nov to get it done in time since I'm still learning as I go. I haven't really had anyone actually play it to give me feedback on it yet haha so your kind words mean so much! :) :) :)

I'm really glad you're happy, it's clear a lot of effort went into it, congratulations

Hi, I'm playing your game right now, and it's impressive that you made it in 30 days.
